On December 6th, the reporter learned from Qingyan (Luoyang) Advanced Manufacturing Industry Research Institute that TsingInst Railway Technology Co., Ltd, (referred to as TsingInst) which was incubated by the institute, has recently independently developed the FGM 500A rail milling and grinding vehicle and officially rolled off the production line in Luoyang. This model is the first domestically produced milling and grinding vehicle to be exported overseas and equipped with switch milling and maintenance functions, achieving two "national firsts" in one fell swoop, and is about to be delivered to the Hong Kong subway as a whole.

During the opening and operation of rail lines, various rail defects such as unevenness, corrugation, corrosion, and uneven joints are prone to occur. If not dealt with in a timely manner, it will directly affect the safety and stability of vehicle operation. Milling and grinding vehicle is the most commonly used equipment for subway rail maintenance and repair, which removes rail defects such as track corrugation, corrosion, and uneven joints through the milling operation of milling cutters.

The FGM500A rail milling and grinding vehicle integrates efficient milling technology, high-precision contour tracking technology, lightweight system integration technology, and intelligent control technology, and has the characteristics of lightweight, intelligence, and cleanliness TsingInst, introduced by General Manager Kong Delong, mainly targets the repair of rail defects such as wave wear, fish scale patterns, and fat edges on the rail surface. It can also achieve preventive scientific polishing and pre polishing before the opening of new lines. The product has excellent wave grinding repair ability and profile machining accuracy.

It is reported that the FGM500A rail milling and grinding vehicle has the function of automatic milling and grinding of switch parts, and the related technology is the first of its kind in China, realizing the full process milling and grinding operation of track "main line+switch".

It is reported that the FGM 500A series of rail milling and grinding vehicles has won honors such as "Top Ten Iconic High end Equipment in Henan Province's Equipment Manufacturing Industry". The development of these products has broken the technological monopoly of European and American countries in the domestic rail transit industry. As of now, this series of products has been used for rail milling and maintenance operations on multiple lines of subway companies such as Beijing Metro and Nanjing Metro.
