The new rail milling and grinding vehicle "Luoyang Creation" has been launched offline

On October 18th, the signing ceremony for the joint research and development strategic cooperation of the FGM500C steel rail milling and grinding vehicle and the new generation of rail transit operation and maintenance equipment of Qingyan (Luoyang) Advanced Manufacturing Industry Research Institute (referred to as "Qingluo Research Institute") was held in Luoyang Comprehensive Bonded Zone.

This milling and grinding vehicle was independently developed by TsingInst Railway Technology Co., Ltd, a high-tech enterprise incubated by Qingluo Research Institute. After delivery to Zhengzhou Metro, it will be used for daily maintenance operations on Metro Line 8.

The FGM500C rail milling and grinding vehicle integrates high-speed milling and flexible polishing, which is clean, efficient, and intelligent. It can completely eliminate defects in one go and has performance comparable to imported equipment worth billions of yuan. It is the best solution for subway rail maintenance in China. Its successful offline has further solidified the leading position of Qingluo Research Institute in the field of rail milling and grinding technology.

After the ribbon cutting of the FGM500C rail milling and grinding vehicle, Qingyan (Luoyang) Technology Industry Co., Ltd., TsingInst Railway Technology Co., Ltd.and Longke (Luoyang) Industrial Operation Service Co., Ltd. held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony for the joint research and development of the new generation of rail transit operation and maintenance equipment, and will build an innovative consortium around the new generation of rail transit operation and maintenance equipment. The signing of this cooperation agreement marks the close cooperation between Tsinghua University and other universities in terms of abundant resources, advanced technological strength, and efficient public research and development platforms, achieving resource sharing and complementary advantages.

At the end of 2018, the first rail milling and grinding vehicle independently developed by the TsingInst team was successfully launched and won honors such as "Top Ten Iconic High end Equipment in Henan Province's Equipment Manufacturing Industry", "China's Good Technology", and "Second Prize for Technological Progress in Rail Transit". In August 2024, the third generation product was awarded the recognition of "the first set of major technical equipment in Henan Province". The core product has undergone rail milling and maintenance operations in subway companies such as Beijing Metro and Nanjing Metro, and has been sold as a whole vehicle to Hong Kong Metro.
